Trip to DC

First family plane ride!

Hi there! Sorry it's been so long since we've blogged! We've been quite busy over the past month. We took our first plane trip together to Washington, D.C. to attend Mommy's cousin, Gracie's Wedding and to visit some family and friends. We actually did pretty well on the plane since Mommy & Daddy decided to fly stand-by on the 6am flights to and from D.C. We were able to get the back three rows to ourselves!

It was pretty rainy and cold, so we didn't get to do much sightseeing. We had a lot of fun at the Achie Gracie & Ryan's wedding and hanging out with all of our extended family. The wedding was at the Dalgren Chapel on the Georgetown campus. Luckily, one of Mommy's best friend's lives right near the ceremony site and was able to watch Avery for a little bit. (Thanks, Tita Paulen!)  The reception was at the Top of the Town which overlooked the D.C. skyline. Tessa danced almost the entire night at the wedding reception! The next day we went to the Family BBQ in Alexandria.

We can't wait to go back to D.C. when we're older to do some sightseeing!

Love,
Tessa & Avery

Man, this is a BIG airport!

                Don't worry, Aves...I got ya!

All I want to do is dance...
