Well, off to San Jose we went last Thursday with Mommy, Daddy, Granny, Papa, and our cousin, Jordyn. We boarded a big airplane to head west to Northern California for cousin Kristin's wedding celebration. Mommy was really nervous about the flights because Avery likes to move around A LOT and can be very LOUD! I stayed busy with Daddy and Jordyn coloring and watching sesame street podcasts on the Blackberry. Avery didn't do too bad on the plane...just kept yelling and jumping on Mommy and Granny's lap. We were all very happy to land in San Jose.
On Friday, we drove up to San Francisco to meet up with Tita Emilie and hang out at the Bay Area Discovery Museum. We LOVED this place! It was underneath the Golden Gate Bridge and had play areas perfect for us! We really liked the froggie ponds. (even though they weren't real!) After a picnic lunch, we headed over to the Fisherman's Wharf area. Mommy, Daddy, and Tita Emilie snacked on some crab from one wharf stands. Avery and I got to try some yummy mini-donuts at Pier 39. We saw the sea lions lying around being silly and making lots of noise. On the way back to the car, Jordyn bought some Inn n Out fries to share...we loved those too!
Here are some pictures from the first half of our trip.
Stay tuned for part 2...
